Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, processing may be based on steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and developing a responsible B2B lighting business, or your consent where consent is required.
When we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the impact on your rights and interests. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be handled by authorised staff and trusted providers supporting website hosting, email, IT security, document storage, logistics, professional advice or project delivery. Providers may use information only for the agreed service and must protect it appropriately.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a genuine corporate transaction. We do not sell personal information.

Where applicable law requires it, we use appropriate contractual, organisational and technical safeguards for international transfers. You may contact us for more information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry, project, customer, supplier and transaction information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the relevant relationship and for applicable accounting, tax, warranty, regulatory or legal requirements. Basic security logs are retained for an appropriate operational period.
We may retain limited information where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer reasonably required.
